Rev. 6:8 -- And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

The translated word "pale" comes from Strong's Number G5515 which matches the Greek χλωρός (chlōros).  This occurs 4 times in 4 verses in the Greek concordance of the KJV.  This is a poor translation.  A better translation relevant to 21st-century reality is "Green".  If this interpretation is correct, then the Western World is going to have a very difficult time with the Muslim world and its historic attempts to conquer and destroy  Western Civilization.

The color for the Muslim religion is green.  Rev. 6:8 appears to fit into present day times.  The Muslim world may ultimately have power over 1/4th of the earth.  Muslims are known for killing with the sword. There is a sword on the flag of Saudi Arabia.  The flags of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are green and white. Libia's flag is totally green.  Many Muslim countries have flags with a substantial amount of green in them. These include: Afghanistan, Algeria, Azerbaijan, Comoros, Iran, Mauritania, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka

Why is the color green so important in the Muslim world?

"Because it was supposedly Mohammed's favorite color. The Islamic prophet is said to have worn a green cloak and turban, and his writings are full of references to the color. A passage from the Quran describes paradise as a place where people "will wear green garments of fine silk."

The argument can be made that the use of Green may apply to China due to its historic reverence for deep green Jade.  I don't think so.  The Flag of Communist China is essentially all red with one large yellow star and four small yellow stars, no green is displayed.  There are several seals for Communist China.  None of them has any green but typically they feature red as the primary color.
