Birthright H1062 (Strong's Number, H for Hebrew) means "primogeniture, right of the first-born" from Strong's.  This word denotes the special privileges and advantages belonging to the first-born son among the patriarchs.  He became the priest of the family.

Esau and Jacob were twins.  They were warring from inside the womb before their birth (Gen 25:22-23). Esau was born first and was red H132 all over and hairy (Gen 25:25).  Jacob came out second and was smooth  H2509 meaning bare (Gen 27:11).  This is an indication that Esau and Jacob were not genetic full brothers but were at best half-brothers.

Esau, the older child, despised his Birthright (Gen 25:34) and gave up his Birthright  to Jacob for a bowl of pottage of red lentils.  Gen 25:30 note 4 tells us that Edom H122 means "Red".  There appears to be some connection with the color "red" here as with the scarlet thread that was wrapped around Zerah's wrist. The color "Red" and "Edom" are synonomous with jewish Communism, sin, blood and fire.  Neither Esau nor Zerah were to be the ancestors of Christ.

I can not explain why H122 red is used in one verse and later H132 red in another.   They both appear to have the same descriptive intention and are both adjectives.

Isaiah uses the color "red" to indicate the color of sin.

Isa 1:18 -- Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet H8144, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red H119 like crimsonH8438, they shall be as wool.

Reuben was in the first-born of Jacob but because he defiled Jacobs’s bed.  The birthright was then given to Joseph/Ephraim and the priesthood of the Stone Sheppard came through them (J/E).  Judah was still the 4th in line product of a marriage (Jacob-Leah) that was consummated through deceit and in the dark.

Jer 31:9  They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

1 Ch 5:2 -- For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him came the chief ruler; but the birthright was Joseph's

Esau hates Jacob and wants to recover the Birthright.  The substitution of less desirable Leah for Rachel produced 4th in line Judah as the Shelahite-Canaanite representative for Jacob.  This substitution attempted to recover the Birthright for Esau.  It failed.

In Bethel Jacob, on his way from Beersheba to Haran, had a vision of the angels of God ascending and descending on the ladder whose top reached unto heaven Gen 28:10, 19; and on his return he again visited this place.  “Where God talked with him” Gen 35:1-15, and there he “built an altar, and called the place El-Beth-el”

Clearly Christ will hold both the Scepter and the Birthright for an eternity of time.  We realize that the Birthright was Joseph's and from Gen 49:10 we learn that a non-Judahite will hold the scepter after Christ (Shiloh) comes.  Both verses agree with each other and support the only conclusion possible that Christ will hold the birthright and the scepter for all time.

The following is an account of how the birthright belonging to the House of Ephraim was hidden by the scribes who ruled the Sanhedrin.  The scribes altered the prophetical text to reflect the location of the birth of the promised messiah from Bethel Ephrata to Bethlehem Judah.  The scribes also tried to distort the genealogy of the Messiah so as to create the appearance that the Messiah would descend from Judah and not from Joseph Ephraim.  This was selfishly done to enhance their own importance as they believed that they descended from Judah and wanted the glory of being from the tribe from which the Savior-Messiah would be born.  We can safely assume that the scribes were learned Talmudic experts.   Let me confirm the Talmudist view, with the words of Rabbi Wise, who stated that “Hebraism died in Babylon and Judaism rose out of the experience”, along with the Talmud . . .

The Search Begins

In 1950 BC  a man lays his head on a rock, has a dream from God, and calls the rock “House of God”.  This stone became the birthright symbol and the children of Israel carried that rock around for the next 38 centuries.  It becomes their symbolic throne, their water supply, the type of their coming Deliverer, their coronation symbol, and it even roars when the proper king is crowned.  The stone which is the coronation stone of the Hebrew nation called Israelites is a symbol of the birthright  This stone was named Beth-el (House of God) by the patriarch Israel (sometimes called Jacob) roughly 2000 BC and remained with his descendants.  It traveled with them for forty years in the wilderness, supplying their water and was preserved and brought to Ireland in 583 BC by the prophet Jeremiah; eventually being transferred to Scotland then England and now back to Scotland.

Here Jacob, on his way from Beersheba to Haran had a vision of the angels of God ascending and descending on the ladder whose top reached unto heaven (Gen 28:10,19; and on his return he again visited this place. “where God talked with him”  (Gen 35:1-15), and there he built an altar, and called the place El-Beth-el Hosea (Gen 12:4-5) makes reference also
